Mane opted to show an everyday ritual in an intimate key for SE, through an image of a young man treated by double exposure. This grid effect came up naturally in process of preparation of this screenprint, while the overlay of the golden and indigo-blue colors produce a refined optical and print effect. The pointillistic surface of color gives a feeling of a filled format, and that of an airy net at the same time, disguising the suggestive image in the background.
